The Pastoral Care Ministry (PCM) was created to attend to the spiritual needs of our congregation. In addition, we also provide some concrete services as needed. Each member of our ministry has committed to an active prayer life of their choosing. By doing this, we continue to deepen our relationship with God, strengthen our relationships with each other, and elevate the prayer consciousness of Unity Christ Church as a whole.
There are no requirements for membership. People come to this ministry because they feel a calling to serve in this way. You don't need to have any experience with formalized prayer. You don't need to have any previous religious education. You don't even need to know exactly why you want to join. The first step is to come to our monthly meeting, which is held the first Monday of every month at 7:00 in the Prayer Chapel. Or, I would be very happy to talk with you personally, if you have any questions or concerns.
